We have an immediate opportunity for a CG Supervisor at our Glendale, CA
studio. This is a consultant role on CG feature film, expected to last
approximately 3 months.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to pipelines, tools and procedures
for CG productions distributed through multiple sub-contracting studios
- Establish graphics solutions, workflow and procedures, and work with
artists and the Digital Supervisor to implement techniques and solve
production problems
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and propose implementations

Qualifications:
- Experience as a CG Supervisor, Visual Effects Supervisor, Technical
Supervisor or similar role in Animation and/or VFX production required
- Strong knowledge and technical understanding of digital pipeline
issues
- Ability to present work and communicate clearly to artistic and studio
leadership
- Optimization techniques and ability to accurately assess level of
complexity required and how to simplify where possible
- Ability to work with show technical staff to establish tools that will
address complex or repetitive tasks
- Experience with distributed productions (i.e. productions involving
multiple studios) a plus
- Experience with Maya and Unix/Linux a must
- College degree in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Graphic Arts,
or a related study
