*POSITION:                   Recruiter*

A Los Angeles based Academy Award winning visual effects and animation 
studio for feature films and commercials is looking for a Recruiter.

*Position Summary:*

Reporting directly to the Manager of Recruitment, the Recruiter will act 
as the initial contact with all potential employment candidates. The 
recruiter will establish and maintain relationships with qualified 
candidates, maintain a database, and assist hiring managers with 
recruiting strategies. _This is a 6 month position._

Responsibilities:*

-Initial contact with all applicants in a variety of position including 
technical, production, and administrative.  Responsibilities include:  

    * Answer all incoming recruitment inquiries via telephone, mail, and
      email
    * Process all incoming demo reels and resumes
    * Send follow-up correspondence and maintain relationship with
      candidates
    * Meet and greet all new hires on their first day of employment

-Meet with various Department Managers regularly to review reels and/or 
resumes

-Assure that Recruiting database is kept current and accurate, and 
facilitate database searches as needed

-Maintain and distribute candidate status reports

-At Department Manager requests, coordinate interviews, including:

    * Contact candidates
    * Schedule interviews
    * Coordinate travel

-Post job openings on internal and external websites

-Work with MIS on database enhancements

-Assist in the organization of all Recruitment events

-Maintain communication with current and former employees

 
*Required Skills / Experience:*

-Minimum two to three years prior experience as Recruiter or in 
Recruitment environment

-Highly organized and detail oriented

-Ability to multi-task

-Excellent communication and people skills

-Excellent team player

-Self starter

-Computer literacy, including database, spreadsheet, and word processor 
experience with FileMaker  

  Pro, MS Word & Excel

 
*Desired Skills / Experience:*

-Prior experience in CG or 2D animation feature film environment
