The School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina seeks 
candidates for a full time faculty position in its Digital Media 
department. Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree or its 
equivalent in graphic design or a related field. Experience in Higher 
education teaching is preferred. Ideal candidates will have several 
years of professional industry experience. The School of Communication 
Arts seeks educators who will encourage creativity, innovation and 
process while imparting the practical concepts of the design industry.

Candidates should be specialists in their field with an innate desire to 
teach. Knowledge of Web and Multimedia Design on both PC and Macintosh 
platforms is required. Ideal candidates will have professional 
experience in developing Interactive Media for CD-ROM kiosks and 
Websites in addition to a thorough knowledge of Interactive Media and 
Web Technologies. Candidates should be flexible and able to teach a 
variety of subjects and levels, including foundation courses. Candidate 
must be proficient in Dreamweaver, Flash including scripting, HTML, 
Website Development and Photoshop/ImageReady.
