The School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina seeks 
candidates for the position of Program Coordinator/Instructor for the 
Digital Film making department. Qualified candidates must have a 
Bachelor’s degree in film production or related field. Master’s degree 
preferred. A strong reel and/or industry experience is essential. The 
ideal candidate will have a proven record of outstanding teaching and 
administration.

Candidates should be specialists in their field with an innate desire to 
teach. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of subjects and 
levels and have expertise to teach Traditional Production Techniques, 
Lighting, Final Cut Pro and Sony Vegas. Screenwriting and budgeting 
experience preferred. Audio, Sound Recording and Pro Tools knowledge a 
plus.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the candidate will serve as 
program coordinator. Prior departmental leadership or administration is 
preferred.
