We wish to fill the following position:
*Information Architect*
*The Role: *Reporting to the Director of the User Experience group,*
*the Information Architect designs user experiences for enterprise
Content Management, Portal, eCommerce, Interactive Marketing and web
application development efforts. Working in conjunction with Solution
and Technical Architects, the Information Architect gathers user
requirements and translates them into a user experience design
specification. The IA participates actively in multiple projects
throughout the full project life cycle. Responsibilities include:

The gathering of user requirements for design specification
*
Consulting with client and Technical Architect on technical
requirements
*
Developing advanced information architectures for large amounts of
unstructured content
*
Developing effective online user experiences
*
Planning and facilitating client/team requirements workshops
*
Developing rapid prototyping scenarios
*
Working with the Project Manager to develop project cost and time
estimates
*
Working with design staff to create conceptual design interface
layouts
*
Building and maintain long-term client relationships
*
Assisting sales by developing solution approaches for RFP responses
*
Speaking and writing on emerging industry issues
*Your Profile:*
*
5+ years experience leading clients through the discovery,
analysis, and design phases of Web & IT projects
*
3+ years experience designing content classification schemes,
taxonomies, advanced search and navigation functionality (e.g.
faceted navigation).
*
Experience architecting solutions using enterprise eCommerce
tools, enterprise Content Management tools and/or enterprise
Portal Applications
*
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
*
Ability to develop wireframes, flowcharts, storyboards, and design
specifications
*
Familiarity with various development methodologies such as
Rational Unified Process, Agile, etc.
*
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
*
Strategic thinking combined with a solid understanding of web
technologies.
