*Project Manager*
Successful project managers deliver value to clients by balancing scope,
time, cost and quality while maintaining a positive environment that
promotes individual development and high performance standards.
The Project Manager position requires strong skills in problem solving,
verbal and written communication, relationship building, as well as
leadership and team management. He/she must have a solid understanding
of project management tools and techniques to manage complex,
multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and
dynamic teams.
Responsibilities:

Manage cross functional teams in the documentation and development
of solutions-based web applications (Interactive marketing
strongly preferred)
*
Work with the project team to develop and manage project budget,
timeline and assumptions
*
Identify, analyze and mitigate risk
*
Plan and facilitate meetings and requirements gathering workshops
*
Manage rapid prototyping scenarios
*
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
*
Assist sales in the development of RFP responses and present the
Macquarium approach to prospective clients
Qualifications:
*
5+ years of experience leading clients through the discovery,
analysis, and design phases of Web & IT projects. Experience in
e-Marketing and branding projects required.
*
PMP certification or equivalent a plus
*
Experience managing solutions using both Enterprise Content
Management tools (Vignette, Documentum, Interwoven, etc) and/or
Enterprise Portal Applications (Vignette, Plumtree, Tibco,
WebSphere, etc) a plus
*
Conceptual understanding of J2EE and .NET platforms. Programming
ability not required, but it is considered a plus.
*
Strong influence management, negotiation, leadership and
assertiveness skills. Excellent presentation skills. Strong
attention to detail with the drive to follow through.
*
Customer service oriented: should be focused on meeting and
exceeding our clients’ expectations
*
Familiarity with various development methodologies such as
Rational Unified Process, Agile, etc.
*
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
*
Experience working with executives and senior client contacts
