*POSITION:               Software UI Developer*

*DEPARTMENT:         Software*

 

*Position Summary:*

Rhythm & Hues Studios is currently seeking a software developer to 
design and engineer UI solutions for its various proprietary tools and 
applications. The ideal candidate would have industry experience 
developing commercial-quality interactive software.

Responsibilities:*

 ¨       Create and customize intuitive UI components

¨       Develop specifications through usability investigations and 
design efforts

 

*Required Skills/Experience:*

¨       Strong C/C++ skills, including object-oriented design and 
large-scale software engineering

¨       Experience with object oriented UI toolkits, preferably Qt

¨       Experience analyzing and optimizing performance in event loops, 
balancing short-term solutions against long-term architectural vision

¨       Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, such as data 
structures, algorithms, systems, and programming languages

¨       Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people 
with varying levels of technical proficiency

¨       Desire to provide excellent customer support in a production 
environment

*Desired Skills/Experience*

¨       Computer graphics techniques and OpenGL

¨       Familiarity with visual effects software (ie. Maya, Houdini, 
Renderman)
